I am a big fan of a good sun shirt. The first thing I noticed is that the fit is true to size. I've had other brands where I have to constantly size up to get the right fit and this one is actually spot on. The material is light enough to withstand the heat, but also has enough weight that it works in cooler conditions nicely. It held up wonderfully on a recent whitewater rafting trip and was comfortable throughout the 2 hour paddle. The only thing I'm not keen on is the thumb loops. I do prefer that they are integrated in the hem of the sleeve, but that is in no way a deal breaker. Can't beat it for the price.

This is the most comfortable sun hoody I’ve tried, and by far the most breathable, since it’s a piece that’s meant to be worn on warm/hot days. The high rise neck provides good protection under a hat with the hood down, and the material is thin enough to pull on the hood on under a hat for extra protection. The only thing that I might mention is that sun gloves or sunscreen is still necessary on the hands, since the sleeves don’t reach the knuckle. Even so, I 100% recommend this hoodie.

I have very fare skin and work in the outdoor industry as a trip leader for folks with disabilities - anything from road cycling to backpacking to flatwater kayaking and lots of in between. I am very pleased with this sun hoodie as a protective layer. It truly feels like a protective layer and not a warmth layer - I recently wore it on a long bike ride in the heat and found it very breathable, moisture wicking, and cool. Love this one!!
